The Encoding Kiosk Application primarily reads third-party (non-Gallagher) card data from MIFARE Classic cards and encodes the equivalent Gallagher data so that cards can be used at both third-party readers and Gallagher T-series readers.

The Kiosk also supports: 

• reading Gallagher data and writing that data back in a configurable third-party format.
• reading third-party data and writing that data back in a configurable third-party format.

The Encoding Kiosk Application requires configuration of all keys with which your non-Gallagher card sectors have been encoded, as well as the source and destination sectors. It is also possible to customize elements of the visible Application, including a logo, the background and text colour, and the error message displayed.

This Application eliminates the need for cardholders to carry multiple cards when a site has both Gallagher and third-party readers. During a reader changeover, cardholders can continue to use a single card at multiple readers.

This stand-alone application requires use of the Gallagher USB MIFARE encoder (C41007).
